Qualifying Science

Recognition of the need for better science education has led Victoria University to establish a new qualification. The Diploma in Education Studies will be offered with an endorsement in science teaching or a combination of science and mathematics teaching.

The university's science education committee added the endorsement following concern at the low number of student science teachers and the low level of support for science education.
