Classroom Chemistry

The New Zealand Institute of Chemistry hopes to link schools with local chemistry-based industries to encourage contacts between chemistry classes and industry. The institute believes that the scheme will give students and staff the chance to explore the role and impact of science and technology on society in some depth. This would involve studying not just the science in the processes, but also related environmental and economic questions.
