Quick DipsSound IdeaRadio New Zealand has developed a computer-controlled recording studio which can be tailored to provide any acoustical environment desired. The studio uses movable triangular wall columns and absorption modules in the ceiling to change and adjust the acoustic environment. This enables it to meet all needs, from classical music to the heaviest rock session, from drama to producing commercials. The Variable Studio Acoustics system was developed in collaboration with ComputerSwitch of Tasmania, and is attracting attention from recording studios worldwide. By providing completely adjustable acoustics, recording facilities will no longer have to have separate studios for different types of recording. |
