Well illustrated with drawings, diagrams and charts, Science and Technology is an encyclopaedic reference book with a wealth of facts and figures. Starting with science the book shows how various branches of science are applied to everyday technology and how technology has advanced through the ages.

The appendix includes chronological lists on inventions and discoveries along with an extensive glossary and index. Each topic has a section on key facts and statistics, a short text essay and a quick reference data file on important discoveries and inventions.

A useful reference book for those interested in the application of science to technology.
