THE OXFORD CHILDREN'S BOOK OF SCIENCE, by Charles Taylor & Stephen Pople; Oxford University Press, 1995; 192 pages; $39.95

Reviewed by Keith Murray

The Oxford Children's Book of Science is a good book for children who are interested in science. It's got an index which I found quite useful and covers a selection of useful scientific subjects. It also has nice clear diagrams and pictures to help you understand what the book is getting at. It explains what the hard words mean and I think that 8-14 year olds would find this book useful. I know that I did.

Keith Murray is a pupil at St Andrews College Preparatory School who is enthusiastic about many aspects of Science.
