SCHOLASTIC'S MAGIC SCHOOL BUS EXPLORES THE HUMAN BODY (CD-ROM), Microsoft Home, 1995, $79

Reviewed by Carrie Curtis, Nick Rogers and Jessica Talbot, Salisbury School

In this adventure you travel round inside a human body in the Magic School Bus with Miss Frizzle and her class. The only way to escape is to explore the whole body.

On the way round you get to go to lots of neat body parts, play lots of neat games, do experiments and play Ralphie's video games like "Kid'n'Around", "Skin Puzzle" and "Tunnel Vision".

Hints for users: You have to find the nervous system or a road sign to get to any other part. If you want to change the bus into a tractor, helicopter or a buggy you just pull down the red lever beside the steering wheel and turn the dial. In the class click on the shoes, then on the skeleton and he will fall to pieces so you can put him together.

If you ever need some help just click on Liz, that's what she's there for. Before you start, read your passport.

We think that anyone over six who can read well would enjoy using the Magic School Bus. It would be specially useful for schools but kids at home would like it too.

Salisbury School is a Primary School in Timaru.
