Belief

I must take slight issue with [Warwick Don when he says "acceptance of evolution is not a matter of belief (it is based solely [on] evidence)".

This is indeed a matter of belief -- belief that the universe follows a consistent set of rules and that we can deduce those rules from what we observe of the universe. After all, an omnipotent god could make the evidence point away from the truth -- though it continues to surprise me just how many people believe in some invisible chappie who really does behave like that.
