Momentum Mishap

In your September Quick Dips [caption not included in on-line version] you described a demonstration involving a small girl strapped to some furniture. You stated that this demonstrated the conservation of momentum. Surely what is being demonstrated is the conservation of rotational momentum.

A minor quibble as regards an otherwise excellent issue.
