Under The Microscope

The is a project overview of the waste management project coordinated by the Centre for Advanced Engineering. It's hardly surprising, that most of the country's regional, district and city councils supported the project. Certainly this overview would provide council members, as well as the concerned citizen, with a good basic understanding of the sorts of things to be considered when attempting to manage wastes. Summaries of the project reports on technologies for dealing with hazardous waste, landfill engineering and sustainable waste management are among the topics examined succinctly. It's good to see conclusions and, more importantly, recommendations clearly laid out --  the main thing will be to get these into practice.
